it will work on any type of t.v. the PS3 and xbox360 i would rather have PS3 it has better graphics and it has blueray inside it so if you want to watch dvds or anything even if it is bad quality the PS3 will make it HD

No You can Use a normal TV on both, but it would look better on HD

You can use both but it will still look pretty much the same on a HDTV unless you use the HDMI cables.
