Psp got wet and it's screwed up?

my psp got wet in the rain 4 days ago. the first thing i did was wipe the screen and then i turned it on to see if it worked, it started up but after a few minutes the screen would turn black and i'd have to restart it. i used a hairdryer to dry it but the same thing happened.

i left it by an east facing window overnight and when i turned it on in the morning the psp would ask me to set the date for some reason, BUT the buttons won't work so i can't select the date, only the sound buttons work. my psp is hacked m33 and so when i restart the psp and hold down the R button i can go into recovery mode and all the buttons work there. 3 days after same thing.

so. WTF?

what i don't get is

why the h**l do ppl say WTF why isn't it working? after they leave a valuable electronic in the rain?

when drying have every thing open up batt umd m/s and have it screen down near warm dry place for a week

go to gamestop and tell them to fix it or open you psp and check what happened

well my friend dropped her's in the toilet she dried it with a towel and hers still worked

ugh....just keep tryin or buy a new one
