Question:

Psp internet connection?

my psp wont connect to the internet anymore. I scan and it finds the access point, and im all set up. When i click connect it does, and when it says optaining ip address it continues and then says cannot connect to the access point. My brothers wireless computer is working. Why isnt mine anymore.

  1. Well, if it doesn't work, that may mean that your psp wi-fi card is broken. Mine is broken because I dropped it. Hope this helps! ♥


  2. Try a few things before giving up:

    Try connecting to a different network (like your local coffee shop).  Try resetting your PSP to all default settings (you can do it under the "Settings" menu).  Try setting up your wireless connection manually (a pain, but hey...).

    If all these fail, it's safe to assume your wireless card died.  You can pick up a replacement on eBay for $30 or so, and disassemble your PSP using the walkthrough in the link below.  I did--it took a careful 45 minutes and a small screwdriver.
