Psp mod without pandora battery?

Hi I would like to mod my psp, my firmware version is 2.8, would i need a pandora battery or just the magic memory stick. and if i used just the magic memory stick would i be able to play downloaded games. And if you could tell me if you have to press L or R or something like that.

Well, the only way that the pandora battery works is with the memory stick, so you would need both because one is useless without the other. If you have both then you are all set, just put in the magic memory stick and then the battery, press X and let it do its thing
