Psp wont connect to wifi?

Question

i recently hacked my nintendo wifi usb to be a wireless access point the access point is connected to the internet and when i search for the connection my psp finds it and it says 100% but when i try to connect to it the connection times out and doesnt connect plz help T-T

P.s my family doesnt want to get a wireless router and im like the only tech person in the fam that wants wifi plz help --__--

You shouldn't have hacked it. Hacking it could ruin it. Its not supposed to be compatible with the PlayStation Portable. Don't try and make it work. You'll just have to live without internet on your PSP.
