Ok, recently I've been indulging in a legal drug which utilises psychadelic alkaloids to get people high. Could this cause liver problems if used too much?

It really depends on the alkaloid in question.

Alchohol causes liver problems.

If it's Salvia Divinorum then no.

Kratom - No
