Psychic Mediums?

I'm really into the whole paranormal thing and my birthday is coming up soon. I wanted something that would entertain my friends as well as scare the c**p out of us. I have talked to a psychic medium before in Gettysburg and I thought she was great. I tried google and ask.com to try to get her to do readings at my party. It didnt work. So...I also looked up psychic mediums in the Baltimore area. No luck. If anyone knows a good psychic medium that is able to come to my home and give readings in the Baltimore area. That would be great! Or if you can think of any other ideas that have to do with the paranormal that are somewhat inexpensive...that is great too.

The top contributors that tell you it is fun and fine to play with Ouija Boards are sick nasty people.

You would be much better off going to a haunted prison or sanitarium and getting the c**p scared out of you than having someone's parents trying to sue you for something that happened with a Ouija Board. Just ask them which they would rather do?

Listen to someone who cares about your welfare. DON'T buy a ouija board or use one at all EVER. It might not work..but if it does..then you've invited a spirit into your home...and you might not be able to get it to leave.

The Westminster Catacombs is a great place to have a gathering.  It is where Poe and other well known marylanders are buried.  It is very creepy and if you take the tour, it is very inexpensive for a group.

Why not a Ouija board? Baltimore is where the first Ouija board was patented. It's almost guaranteed to make for a spooky fun time for your birthday, and it's cheap too. Toys R Us sells one, but for the right mood you might want to buy a fancier one at a local mystic shop.

There are a variety of Bed & Breakfast Inns, in the Gettysburg area, that advertise of being haunted.

Why not contact their Chamber of Commerce and pick out a couple of different places to stay at?

Also find out about any ghost tours in the area as well.

If it is just for entertainment, just look around at ads in the newspapers. If you are looking for the real deal, then it will probably be pretty pricey. Good luck and I am advising you to NOT do the ouija board. Good Luck.

Have you ever been on a ghost tour? That might be a fun way to spend your birthday and get scared as well. Not to mention learn some of the darker secrets in your city.

Yes, I agree that a Ouija Board can be fun, but take a look at a question I answered on Ouija Boards a few days ago which outlines protection you need to take prior to commencement and after.  And it gives you an insight on what can happen during a Ouija Board encounter.  Pity you don't live near me in Australia as I do psychic parties for people and have done so for over ten years.

Ouija boards are a good idea, and much cheaper than paying someone to guess about your future.  Because that's what they are doing - guessing.  If you contact them ahead of time and give them your name, it's more educated guessing - like the kind you can get from a Google or background search.

Don't worry about all the warnings people are  giving you about ouija boards.  It's just a piece of cardboard.  You can't actually use it to contact spirits or ghosts - it's all in your head.  Look up the ideomotor effect.  Actually, that might be a good birthday prank to pull on people - get them convinced it's working, then show them it's not.  That would be pretty funny.
