yes, in the future you will be extremely careful with your money.  The economy of the U.S. is going downhill fast and things will cost so much that you will have to get as much out of every penny you can.  You certainly can invest your money but the stock market will crash also and you will loose it all.  You can hide it in your mattress and when the dollar is devalued, it may not be worth anything anyway but you will have something to sleep on.
