My three year old son lost my wedding ring and despite threats, bribes, and questions, he cannot remember where he had it last. We are moving in days, and I am beyond distraught. Anyone have any premonitions or anything as to where we could look for it, or how we can get him to remember?

  1. check his room

    most likely theree

  2. I would buy a metal detector.  Sweep your yard and the interior of your home.  There is no guarantee this will work, but at least you'll be able to feel like you're doing something about it.

Those things aren't cheap, but once you have it you can turn that into a hobby and get some good exercise.

P.S. You are demonstrating a disturbing action used by many desperate people.  As with missing persons, psychics are sought when it seems that all hope is lost.  Many people have asked psychics to help police in finding a missing loved one as a last resort.  Despite claims to the contrary, psychics have never been successful in finding a person.  So you should realize that although it seems harmless to ask a psychic for help, it gives them an undeserved air of legitimacy.

  3. Have you got floor boards if you have it may have gone through the middle of them under you settee.

  4. I am not a psychic, but I would ask him about his very last memory of when he had the wedding ring.  It might help refresh his memory.  Do not make threats.  At age 3, he should not be held responsible.

  5. I have a premonition that if you get a metal detector and sweep the house, you will find the ring.

  6. meditate, and pray for St. Anthony to help you find the ring.

  7. I'm no psychic but here are a few places you can check.

The trap of the sink drains

Along the walls - base boards

Any place he likes to play

Lift up the edges of rugs

    In the sofa

    window ledges

    kitchen cabinets

garbage from the day he had it

Don't despair if you don't find it. It is highly possible he threw it in one of the boxes you were packing, and you'll find it when you unpack. You won't find out from the kid. You badgered him too much and scared him. I like the idea of giving him another ring and see what he does with it. (fake of course)

  8. sure   http://www.facade.com/tarot/personal/?Da...

  9. give him a little play ring and watch what he does with it. may take a while.

Edit: his room is carpeted...check the baseboards, particularly around where his cars are. Maybe even in the cars.

I think what Kristi means is check the traps in the bathroom sink drain and the kitchen sink drain, both good places, but if he is as small as I think he is that may not be possible.

Has he been fascinated by it before and where would he likely hide a treasure? Flip the mattress on his bed (carefully, you don't want it to go flying.) Dig DEEP in the sofa cushions,

  10. Well, no psychic is going to be able to get you out of this one. I have to ask.....

Why did you even take you wedding ring off? I have worn mine since the day I was married, showers, sleep, etc.....

Why did you let your 3 year old son have it?

I think you are going to need to fess up to your spouse and go renew your vows with new rings.

This time, don't take it off.

If its a matter of comfort, they have whats called comfort rings. They cost a bit more, but its worth it for something that is going to be on your finger the rest of your life. Prior to my wedding I hated wearing rings, so this was a concern for me, and we got the comfort rings, but I was still skeptical. However, it hasnt bothered me at all.

  11. watch his (to put it mildly) bowel movements

  12. leave something else out, something shiny that he would like and see where he takes it, the chances are he took your wedding ring the same place.

  13. If you are moving and once everything you own is packed up and you still have not found the ring, then, A. You packed it up unknowingly., B. He flushed it down the terlit. or C. He may have dropped it down a heating duct.

I suggest you get one of those rings from a bubble gum machine, give it to him and then ask, "Show Mama what you did with the other ring", it may work.

  14. Yes, junior pushed the ring into a crack and couldn't get it back.

  15. You threatened and bribed your son? You probably sent out negative vibes to your son, and they confused his memory.

Calm down yourself, and ask him calmly, things like, when was the last time you had it/saw it? And so on.

Otherwise, when you are packing, look through everything you pack.

Also, if you've already packed, when the house is empty, make sure every corner is completely empty, so you know that the ring is not in the house...then when you unpack, you can look through your things till you find it.

  16. Check the sewer pipes

  17. OK, let me get this straight.

First, you let your three-year-old play with your wedding ring?

Second, you seek a psychic's assistance to find it?

Well, you're right in one way.  You certainly do need help.

But presumably if you're moving you're taking all the furniture (?), so it should turn up.
