If i have a DC motor outputting .150 v how long would it take to rcharge a 12v car battery, also if you spin the armature on a DC motor you create electricity is there a way to tell how much it will creat by have how much it can take in for example if the motor rus on 36 watts90v .4 amps and 2000 rpm what will it output for electricity.

  1. If you want a motor to charge a car battery. Connect an altenator to it with a belt and pulley system and connect the altenator to the battery. If you charge a battery up it has to be the battery voltage or above. Normally 13.9 Volts on an altenator. It is better to have a proper deep cycle charger for a car battery and charge it over 12 hours.
