Psychics????

Question

Ok so I don't believe in psychics (no offense) but how close do you have to be to someone to know something about them? like right now could you tell me what i'm thinking or something personal about myself or no?

For a reading to take place contray to (tsr21) all the reader has to do is relax a read the person. Most reader are lucky to get even close to 70 percent accuracy. It's not the reader who is at fault but the way he or she interpits the information they receive. Its part the emotional state as well as what is seen.

  Some thing for trs21 to try is to take a piture. Just a simple picture of a street with houses cars and plant life in it. Now take a group of six or more people and have them look a the picture for two minutes, this is much longer the a reader will ever have. Remove the picture from site and and have the group write down everthing they had seen in the picture as well as what they where feeling. Now compart every ones notes with the picture back in view and tell how many really go it right and how accurate they where.

The bottom line is, no-one has ever anywhere any time been able to demonstrate psychic abilities.  If anyone was able to do so, all the casinos in the world would have to close down.  Which is strange, because they all seem to be doing quite well.

Well if you don't believe in them honey, what is the point in having a  discussion about them. I work as one and you don't even have to see someone I do a lot of my work over the internet. And no I don't feel like telling you anything about yourself, what's the point?

I'm not psychic..but I had a little psychic incident with someone in Australia yesterday..I'm in Florida.  Is that the kind of close you mean?  

As far as a psychic telling you something about yourself...do you realize how many people there are in the world? Do you think psychics can pick you out of ALL the people in the whole world? I'd think there would have to be some kind of contact...at least a name or something.

Well, I think there is something in clairvoyance and clairaudience..... my father had a good friend who gave him free readings, and he was pretty accurate.

However, there are lots of charlatans out there who make stuff up, and fools who fool themselves.

A genuine psychic will always respect your doubts, as they will have come across them many times before. Any physchic who gets "difficult" is very probably one of the charlatans, and to be avoided. Dont be worried by anything they say in retaliation at being found out, lol (!), but its probably best not to rub their noses in it if you realise they are frauds, just dont have a reading and leave politely and say that they are probably not right for you at this time (the physic equivalent of its not you, its me, lol)

If you want to speak to a psychic, dont give them any clues about yourself, dont tell them whether they are on track or not (and make it easier to cold read), and try and keep your face impassive. Get them to tell you some things about your past and present, and see how they do. You can then judge how good they are before you take on board anything they tell you about your future.

Im not sure its a good thing to have readings though. I think it can influence the choices you make in life, and perhaps not always for the better. I had a reading by the same family friend who was pretty good, and was told I was going to work abroad in a certain field, and when that opportunity came up, I didnt go for it, I was a little afraid of it coming true, and afraid of taking the opportunity for the wrong reasons (to make it come true). Was it a mistake, did my life take a better or worse path as a result? Who knows. But in hindsight I think I probably wish I had not had the reading.

If you're willing to send me a picture of yourself, one where I can see your eyes, or better yet, one that's already on the net, you'd be surprised what I can tell you. No questions, no details, just an image of your face, where I can see your eyes.

But these avatars all look the same, so it's very hard to see "you" beneath it (and no, I don't read your Q&A--frankly, I don't have the patience for that. It's tedious and not worth my time).

Oh  your question...duh. I don't have to know someone at all to be able to read them, I just need to be able to connect to their energy. I've found I can read eyes very well, but occassionally I get things from just a birthdate.

hmmm.... you're a soft sort of a person, obviously have a curiosity about psychics, you don't believe, but yet, you're not entirely sure either. something's made you sad recently, I get a soft, down sort of a feeling, you aren't sure what to do with it, you're testing because there's something you want to know, something you'd like to know that a psychic can tell you, but because you're not even sure psychics are real (and let's face it, 90% of people who say they are really are not) you don't want to waste time or money (or heart) asking one for help.

The issue is not so much as to whether you believe in psychics but whether you conceive of yourself being a spiritual being or not. If not, then you will never accept psychic ability as being real since it is a demonstration of a spiritual ability. If you accept the existence of spirit then of course anything is possible.

You know through experience, observation and direct contact. You can also know to the degree that you are willing to 'be' the person or object. This is an operation of spiritual awareness or 'affinity' and as such is independent of time or space. In theory the closeness of which you speak is not in terms of physical closeness or proximity to you but rather in the extent of affinity(degree of love or desire to be close)

that another person has towards you. Don't you know best of all those you love..
