Question:

Psychics. . . .?

How can someone with psychic ability "read" someone over the internet? I've seen tons of people put questions out here for psychics to answer, but can it actually be done? Besides the screen name, all you have on the net to go by is the way the person phrases their question. Isn't that just being a cold reader?

  1. its very simple: not real all fake

  2. I don't really understand how you can give somebody an accurate reading over the internet. There's this website called California Psychics and they will give you a reading over the internet. How can that be possible?

I don't know about you,but I would much rather meet with the psychic face-to-face.

  3. Psychics are not real. They can't"read"over the Internet or anywhere else. The constant claims you read here are bragging. It's not bragging if you can do it.So far nobody has been able to.If one of them is insulted by my remarks.Let me know using your psychic powers.I'll gladly apologize and pay you $20.

  4. What you mean is, how can someone cold read someone else when that person is not able to give off verbal cues or guide the educated guesses as they are able to face to face?

The less contact the reader has with the readee the less likely it is the reader will be able to pick up on the cues that are necessary to give a good cold reading.

  5. i agree there are alot of bad sites to deter you from psychics,

but as i am psychic i have to reminde you there are different forms of mediumship i use clairsentience~so i feel and just know what is happening i am also clairvoyant so i see images & then clairaudient so i also hear its just about finding the genuine ones who wanna help xx

  6. No not true at all, I have done plenty of readings over the Internet with great success. I have done it over the phone. In person as well.  I have it documented.

With any of the ways I communicate , I have not found any of it to be a challenge. So it makes no difference.

Not sure why there would be a limitation on the ability unless a person has their own limitations.

Another point in question, I don't want to know about the reader I am going to read. Why? Well I don't want any information given to me. That becomes my job to tell you your future.

I perfer people that I read to say nothing.

  7. I don't believe some serious Psychic person would pretend to read anyone in Internet, if anyone does he's probably a fake.

  8. Yes that's all there is.  That's why being a psychic is bullshit.  It's easy.  You make generic predictions and people read into them whatever they want.

  9. I think that if psychic abilities come through spirits...that spirits have access to  the internet & to knowledge about other people on the internet. I think they "keep up with" advances in technology. I think that this is possible...even if the person doesn't realize he/she is giving a "reading". Hasn't this ever happened to you?  Hasn't something "touched" you through the internet..or movies or songs? (No, skeptics...I don't mean physically...although I've heard that it happens through SOME  tv evangelists who have the gift of healing.) So..why not through the internet?( I've often wondered why this doesn't happen with Sylvia Browne, John Edwards & other psychics.  (I remember something like this happened to me through something that was said on the 700 Club. It was something that was EXACT...and the result came to pass the next day at church.)

Edit..But, I'm not sure that the spirits like to play the "games" that some put out in the form  questions on  here...like   "What's the name of my dog ?"or "What am I wearing?" etc. I don't think they like to "perform"...not even for Randi. (I don't know that for sure...it's just what I think.)

    zac...LOL LOL!!! $20 ?????? LOL LOL LOL!!!

  10. Yes, that would be a form of cold reading. However, even cold reading would be shoddy like that. Cold reading works best when a psychic can engage the victim in dialogue. Real psychic work, like that done by Sylvia Browne and John Edwards is cold reading.

People who believe to be real psychics tend to do much less accurate readings because they do not really know how to use the con-man style techniques that have been developed over centuries. Real psychics about as accurate as a non-psychic making guesses. Figure that one out.

  11. I think a facial picture without any background information (a head shot) is all that a psychic needs to read a person. Sometimes a strong impression will come through, other times you have to "cold" read the person by looking for facial expressions - so the skeptics are correct in this regard. Whether you like it or not, everyone has the ability to read body language and can pick up on facial expressions.

I'm not a proffessional psychic (I don't do it for money or a living) and only had one strong impression from a picture someone sent over the internet. I was chatting with a person and she wanted to send me a picture ( a head shot with a studio background) as soon as I opened the picture, I felt the strong impression of butterflies - I imediately told her this in the chat browser and she didn't reply for a minute or two.

When she replied she asked how the h**l did I do that?

Specifically I told her I saw butterflies and she used that theme to decorate.

She told me that she has butterflies all over her house as decorations. During our earlier chat which was only around five minutes, there was no mention of butterflies at all from either of us.
