  1. These are all terms used for ethical considerations as outlined by the BPS (British Psychological Society) a link to their page is here http://www.bps.org.uk/the-society/code-o...

Essentially the right to withdraw means the participants can withdraw themselves and any data gathered about them from the experiment/study at any time.

Informed consent means that participants have to be informed beforehand what the experiment will involve and the aim of the experiment and must then consent to participate in the experiment/study if they still want to.

Confidentiality means that all information gathered must be kept completely confidential and never passed on to anybody else. They must also not be identifiable from the information you use.

Deception means that you cannot deceive participants as to you intentions and methods.

Protection from harm means that you cannot do anything that will cause any physical or mental harm to any of your participants.

I'm not sure about privacy because I would generally use include that with confidentiality, but I suppose that could be about making sure that participants are not identifiable from your data.

I don't know if this is how the AS Level books define things as I'm on a degree course and there may be a difference in wording or definitions between the levels.  Anyway I hope this helps.

  2. Psychology is the study of the brain (physically) and the mind (mentally) and their function. It's studied in a few categories:

    behaviour

    brain development

    sensation

    preception

    conciousness

    learning

    motivation

    emotion

    memory

    intelligence

Hope it gives you a rough idea

  3. These are all ethical issues, outlines precisely in the BPS ethical handbook, see link below. Those are the definitions as practised in psychological study. Just keep scrolling down till you find the ones you want. I don't know how general/specific you want it and besides, as you've probably been told, when possible it's always best to work from the source.
