1. Jack is a second grade student. He seems to have no interest in learing, often daydreaming in class, frequently disrupting the class by throwing objects at other students. Using the major theoretical perspectives employed by psychologists, give three atlternative explanations for Jack's classroom behavior, In light of these explanations, what stephs could be taken to reduce Jack's disruptive behavior? (10 points)

  1. Jack seems to be a little underdeveloped and is most likely very egocentric. Jacks parents should be confronted to see if Jack is this was in his home. I would say he is trying to get attention but the daydreaming shows thats not what it is. He does not understand that he is not the only one. He should be placed in numerous group activities. More importantly he should be positively reinforced when completing these activities and negatively reinforced when not. He should never be punished.
