Psychology internship?

I'm a high school student looking for any kind of psychology internship for next summer, full time or part time. Does anyone know where I might be able to apply? Most of the places I've tried only accept college students.

Honestly, you'll probably not going to be able to find anything right out of high school. Do you plan on going to college for psychology? If so, your best bet is to do some direct independent study for a professor, which is about as close to an "internship" as you're going to get. You'll be assisting the professor with whatever research they are currently doing. The school I went to (Florida State University) had meetings where all the professors got up and explained what research they were doing and provided you an opportunity to apply to work with them. This is the best way to get great letters of recommendation for graduate school, so make sure you look into this if you decide to go to college.
