  1. Psychology,

it better helps you to understand people.

  2. What kind of law do you want to practice?

If you want to practice criminal law than definetly criminal justice with a dual major in forensic psychology.

If you do not want to practice criminal law than you need to focus on political science with a dual major in whatever specialty you plan to focus on such as business or finance.

  3. What is your career goal?

I would suggest Psychology.  It might take longer to get your BS than it would in CJ, but a BS in Psychology will open more doors career wise.

As for Law School, study hard for the L-SAT and you should do fine.

  4. Psychology is not law and Psychology Majors is not for Criminals. There is a Bachelor's Degree for Para Legal studies. Criminal Justice may only go as far as a cop working for the DA office. There is not very much anyone without an actual law degree can do in criminal law. Criminal Justice is the Gov't legal practice and defense lawyers.

  5. Criminal Justice would be better. Psychology will tell you how neuron pathways work, parts of the brain etc. Criminal Justice will tell you what the criminal is actually thinking and the logistics of crime. However, to be sure i would talk to a degree counselor at your school, or better yet, the school that you are planning on getting your Law degree from!

Dont be fooled into thinking that psychology will 'help you understand people better" behavoral science degrees are MUCH better for that than Psychology!
