Pubic hair....DOWN BELOW hahahaha where else would it be?! Seriously, if you have to get rid of it, wax as shaving will itch like h**l but I think people should stop being so hung up about that hair - removing it is a major pain. Why do we do it? well to be honest its up to you.

it is safer and healthier to stay natural - it is there for a reason, that is why it grows there. its to stop infections and whatnot.

waxing/shaving can cause these problems: a lot of ingrown hairs (my experience - theyre not pretty, and completely ruin the effect), dryness, itchiness. it also doesnt look that nice when its growing.

also painful to do.

its up to you though. a lot of women just trim or shave their bikini line (just shave up to the line of your bikini where people can see).

to be honest, you and your boyfriend should be the only ones who see it and he should love you whatever (sounds cheesy and c**p but true!).

its ultimately your choice, but i would start with  bikini waxing/shaving to see if it works for you.

I *love* the look of hair, especially if it tastes and smells like a really horny woman who loves me.

Unless *you* like being shaved, don't bother... there are far more good guys like me out there than good guys who want to do a p*****n girl with rasor burn, ingrown hairs and stubble.

Natural. Contrary to popular belief, it is not more sanitary or "clean" to shave or wax.

I don't like hair there. I get rid of it all. I love wax, because it lasts so long. The pain isn't actually that bad, it's sore but very quick and over in a jiffy. However, I shave because I hate having to wait for it to get long enough for me to wax it again. Shaving isn't sore/itchy when it grows back as long as the razor is nice and sharp and you exfoliate lots. I have no problems shaving over and over it.

I've just read Emily's comment. Why you think women get rid of their pubic hair to look like a child and be turned on by that, I don't know. You're so wrong, and what you said is gross. We don't need pubic hair, so why can't we get rid of it? Pubic hair is just there to keep us warm and clean. These days we have underwear and clean water! And not that it is unhygenic, I just feel cleaner. I absolutely hate waking up in the morning having got my period in the night and finding blood in my hair. So, I get rid of it. And it's so much more sensitive there without it! And that is perfectly true, no need to deny.

When I trained as a beauty therapist they didn't teach us to wax that area and nor would I do it to another person. Also the thought of anybody but my boyfriend or a doctor fiddling around with the area makes me feel ill. With he hair being so curly in that area I would expect waxing would cause lots of ingrowing hair. It would also damage the follicles so that it might never grow back.

Most men prefer trimmed. I wouldn't let it grow natural like a bush. I sometimes shave it all off about every month.
