Pubic hair removal for men??

Question

I think I want to remove my pubic hair, I'm thinking maybe trim it down using scissors, I don't want to shave it, and I certainly don't want to wax it.

Do you think it's a good idea to cut it with scissors? Will it grow back fast? Will it grow back thicker?

No, it won't grow back thicker and yes, trimming your pubic hair is the best thing to do, for you won't have to deal with the itchiness of shaving and the pain of waxing. Since it's summer, yes, it'll grow back faster, but that's fine, just trim it. If you want to completely remove it, you can use hair removal cream that won't hurt the skin at all and there are even hair removal creams for sensitive skin. Hope this helps.

The idea that it will grow back thicker is a clear fallacy.  Hair is tougher and bristlier when short -- so people think its thicker -- but it is not.

Scissors are fine, or you could use a bikini area depilatory cream.

That should be fine, but it won't grow back any thicker than before. It may seem so for a while, but that's because your eyes are playing tricks on you. It only appears to be thicker because it's been absent for a while.

It normally takes a few weeks to grow back fully, but that varies so there's no definite time frame.

It's OK to cut it with a scissor because if you use a razor there will be  bleeding from cutting into the follicle pores.  I did that once and I will never do it again.  The groin area was very sensitive to my underwear rubbing.  I got erections when I didn't want to.  It took about 6 months for all the hair to return back to normal length.  You pubic hair will not be thicker.

get hair trimmers at a local store like wal-mart . They have adjustable settings so that you dont shave it bald. trim it down.

i use nair for men.  one needs to read all directions and use carefully, though.
