    2.  It varies:  all day pass $3.50 /one ride $1.75    (students/handicap/elder discounts) also mthly pass $55

    3. The all day pass is considered the unlimited transfer

        onto any bus,street connector or express bus for 24 hrs.


  2. 1. I live in NYC, but I go all along NY and Westchester, Rockland County, and New Jersey.

    Metropolitan Transportation Authority (NYCT), MTA Long Island Bus, MTA Bus Company, Westchester County Bee-Line bus $2. Express bus cost $5 including Atlantic Express on X23/X24. Subways and Roosevelt Island Tramway are also $2.

    We have 1-Day $7.50, 7-Day $25, 7-Day Express Bus Plus $41, 14-Day $47, 30-Day $81. They're first activate when you purchase.

    Suffolk County Transit is $1.50 along with Hunting Area Rapid Transit which is $1.25.

    No passes available on Suffolk County bus.

    Transport of Rockland

    Tappan Zee Express $1.50- Transfer 60 cent.

    Local TOR: $1.00. Transfer 40 cent.

    Super Savers give you discount.

    New Jersey Transit bus is based on fare zones with transfers 65 cent for continuing trip on bus or RiverLine, Hudson-Bergen Lightrail or Newark City Subway.

    NJ Transit buses including Morris County Metro, Burtlink, Red & Tan in Hudson County, you could use NJT Weekly/Monthly Rail Pass to get on the bus.

    CT Transit

    Local $1.25

    I-Bus $2.50

    Some buses vary by zone.

    CT Transit has unlimited pass and trip pass also.

    CT Transit give free transfer if connecting to GBTA, HART CT or Norwalk Wheels for coin payers only.

    If transferring from CT Transit to Bee-Line or Tappan Zee, pass holders also receive free transfer.

    Long Island Bus gives 25 cent transfer for coin-payers only who gets on connecting NYCT/MTA Buses or Suffolk and HART buses.

    Suffolk County Transit gives 25 cent transfer for coin-payers only to connecting HART or Long Island Buses.

    Same reason for HART.

    MTA Bus, NYCT and Bee-Line local buses give free transfer to connecting buses.

    Bee-Line bus passenger paid by coin or MetroCard receive free transfer to $1.50 Tappan Zee Express, CT Transit 11A/B $1.25 or I-Bus $2.50.

    there are several cities with their own transit system

    along with Metro

    each one had a different fares

    Like metro (fare each time is $1.25 per boarding only issue to other municipal carriers (like to Santa Monica) but you can not

    transfer from one metro bus to another they also sell

    a day pass for $5.00

    now take Santa Monica fare is 75cents and transfer are .50cents good on any bus but if you need take a 3rd Big blue you have to pay again Or get  day pass from Santa Monica for $2.50 (3.50 if you want the express day

    now take Culver city fare is 75cents free transfer to its

    own lines -25cents for a transfer to Santa Monica or Metro

    and thats just tip of the iceberg for Los Angeles

    I didn't mention LADOT, Santa Clarita, Torrance

    Gardenia, Long beach(another transit system with  day pass)

    Norwalk, Montebello etc
