Public gyms?

are children under 16 allowed in most public gyms and allowed to use the equipment if their parents are supervising them the whole time (the kids ages are 11, 11, 12)

  1. Usually, no. At many gyms in my area you can work out with a trainer if you're under 18, but not alone or with parents.


  2. Check with the gym, at my gym kids have to be 12 to use the equipment.

  3. I'm not sure if there is an age limit, I have some young kids running around my gym lifting and stuff w/o their parents being near.

  4. Sometimes but if you go to one that allows them they will be able to go alone.
