  1. What is a dwa/dwal?

ADD: Ah, right thanks for that. What dangerous wild animals are you planning to keep? (**is pleased that hertfordshire is a long way from durham**). I've looked on google but can't find any. Perhaps try ringing the licensing agency - they may be able to help you.

  2. hi I'm a herts girl lol..................

right what u need to do is to get on to the council as the insurance NEEDS to be approved by them. there is and application fee of £109.00 for that. (so they should be able to recommend an insurer for you)

i assume u have your licence to have a dwa?

sadly the only info stuff i could get was www.waveney.gov.uk

    there email is licensing@waveney.gov.uk

or ring 01502 523 620  and they can point you in the right direction.

not really answering your question but will kinda help x

    (what ya getting) x

  3. Business insurance companies should do it.  The reason you will have to have this is incase the animal escapes and injures someone.

you might have to have this through a business insurance as they seem the only ones who do it. if in doubt speak to another keeper.

I have included a link to an insurance who cover animals that require a dwa license. http://www.cliverton.co.uk/pages/exoticA...
