Public school vs Christian school?

Yeah so my mom has me enrolled in a Christian school but I really want to go to public school and I thought that the student has the right to make that decision. I am going into the 9th grade and their is only like 5 more days untill school starts and I really am regreting going to a Christian school again. I am a strong Christian but the Christian schools are full of hypocrites which really annoys me. I want to go to this public school near my home but it is overcrowded with 800 kids. I know a few people going their. What Can I tell my mom to get her to enroll me in a Public school? And is it harder to get into a Public school from a Christian or a Christian school from a public?

Your mom probably knows whats best, but let her know how you feel. School vary. Sometimes public schools are better and sometime Christian schools are better, there's no way to know without knowing the schools. I can tell you one thing: it is your legal right to enroll in a public school at any time, so there is no 'difficulty' with transferring to a public school from a private school. Transferring into the private school depends on the school.

As long as you're a minor, your mom gets to choose.  However, feel free to discuss it with her and tell her your reasons for wanting to change.  If she thinks your reasons are ... well ... reasonable, she might.  But if she doesn't let you change, just grin and bear it.  Make your school experience as positive as you can make it!
