Public schools!!!!!!!!!!!?

i have been in charter schools all my life now im moveing to phoenix and going to a public jr high school for 8 grade which has 1100 kids!! how can i adjust and be popular? help!!

Being popular in public schools just means your mean to everyoen. Trust me in a public school you want to have a group of 3 or 4 friends its a lot funner then having 20 friends and being popular is hard work. Charter schools arn't to differant from public schools, just more people!

my sisters did the same thing

and it just took some time to get used too it being more crowded . you dont get as much one on one with the teachers either so participate a lot! =D it may get a little stressful but the great thing is all the awesome people you meet

and don't worry about being popular, make friends that you like and who like you for who you are and if they happen to be popular than so be it, but if not, who cares? You will be just as happy !

alright, first off.

no one is really popular ; theres just a bunch of different groups. and im going to a new school myself.

Ha. i went to private school for 8 years then transferred into a public high school. The first couple weeks were a bit rocky, but things leveled out and just got better.

As a new kid, people will notice you right off the bat, so just be who you are. People who are compatible with you or seem to like you will be attracted to you relativly soon.

its still jr high, so don't worry too much. Things will definitly change in high school anyways.
