I am going to stay in Sao Paulo for 2 weeks. Due to my tight budget, I need to rely mainly on public transport to move around. So can you give me some hints on the public transport in Rio? For example, is there a kind of ticket that if I buy one, I can use it in any public transport such as bus and metro for the whole day? If available, please tell me how much it is and where I can buy it? Thanks.

  1. well....Taxi...bus...metro...

  2. When you visit São Paulo, the subway is the safest and fastest option for transportation. With only three lines of service, however, it is fairly limited. The metro is open from 5am to midnight, including weekends, but ticket windows close at 10pm. Overall, the subway system is very modern and organized.

  3. Hi!

If you are coming to Brazil you must to learn something: you must to speak portuguese specially if you go use public transportation and for each one of the transport that you will use( bus, metro, etc) you must to buy tickets and they are validated to one use. only one, it is not like Europe that you can buy one ticket and use thew whole day. Ok?
