Question:

Public transports in Rome?

I'm going to Rome next month, and I'm probably gonna stay in a big hotel near to La Rustica Citta. To reach the hotel, I'll need to take the FR2 (ferrovie regionali) from Tiburtina Station.

How much does the FR2 cost? Does it cost the same as the metro A or B tickets? If I buy the 3-days metro ticket, can I use it for taking FR too?

Thank you so much.

  1. yes, you can take a tiket at the cost of 1 euro, and you can use the public metro for 1 hour and half.

  2. It's better if you buy a ticket called "Birg". This allow you to get all the underground or buses or trains (around Rome) during the day. It costs about 3 Euro.
