We'll be in London in august. We both love rock music and we were wondering if there's a place for us in central London...preferibly not too expensive! (I know it's kinda difficult to find it in central london....that's the reason I'm asking here!!=)

Yeah head to Camden - loads more going on there.  The city's quite a boring place to go out unless you're wearing a suit!
