  1. give it heat and

    .rabbit

    .mice

    .any live small rodent

  2. you can put it in a 20 gallon.  they get about 2-3 feet long

yes it needs a heat lamp a 50 watt is the best

don't listen to jadesa he is wrong, they mostly eat mice and small rats sometimes, but they can't eat rabbits, they only ge to be about 3 feet, and are too small to eat rabbits.

they eat mice, DEAD not alive because the mouse could hurt or bite the snake.

is compressed coconut fiber like bedding you use in the cage?  i would just use reptile bedding, like they use in hamster cages, but it is made just for reptiles.

  3. Your average care sheet will tell you the answers to all of that...but yes, a 20 would be sufficient to house an adult.  I prefer under tank heaters over heat lamps as they dry the air less and they pose less of a fire hazard.  Either one needs to have a thermostat to regulate the temperature.

They eat rodents of appropriate size. Most captive born and bred snakes will easily take frozen/thawed mice. These are safer to feed than live.

Coconut fiber works fine, but it is a bit messy and can leave dirty residue on the snake.

  4. Yes to all of your questions and they eat mice. Pinkies as babies and adult mice as adults. They can easily live in a 20 gallon long since they only get about 2 1/2 feet long. A heat lamp or a heat pad will work for heat. They are cool snakes with great appetites. They can be very frisky and hard to handle, but with alot of gentle handling and some patience, they can become tame. I just had a clutch of apricot Pueblans hatch three days ago.

  5. pueblans don't get very big so they can stay in a 20gallon for probably their entire life. It really depends on how big it gets but after a year and a half you will probably know if it will need a 30 or 40 breeder. you will use the heat bulb that will achieve the necessary tempeartures, probably a 50 watt but you'll have to check the cage w/ a digital thermometer. pueblans will eat rodents like most snakes and if you want to use eco earth which is compressed cocnut fiber, that's fine. That's what I keep mine in.
