Puerto Plata Jet Skiing???? HappyFeet please answer?

I am going to Puerto Plata on August 27th and will be staying at Riu Merengue.. can you tell me where is the best place to rent jet ski's... I am hearing from a few ppl that jet skiing is not allowed in Puerto Plata anymore! :(

Me again, Yes it is more difficult to hire jet ski's those days in all the Dominican waters, due to the fact of the many accidents have taken place. (most of the time tourist playing James Bond). So the office of Tourism has forbidden to rent jet ski's.

You can rent Jet Ski's in Sosua all the time except for Samana Santa.
