Puerto Rican Flag Bead Necklaces?

can someone tell me where i can find instructions to make them,ive seen them before, its the kind with just only string and beads(not the kind with a metal flag plate)

    - the pattern listed above is for making the flag out of beads - each square in the graph represents a bead.  All of the beads are stitched together.  

    Peyote stitch is the most popular way of stitching the beads together using this type of graph.  This type of graph can also be used with brick stitch.

    Another method of beading is Right Angle Weave.  You would need a different type of graph for that particular technique.

    Unless the beads are set into a bezel of somesort (chatons, for example), then the flag is going to be most likely woven using one of the following techniques: peyote stitch, brick stitch, square stitch, right angle weave, or loomed.  

    It is possible to also create a flag using herringbone stitch, but it is not as common as the others listed.
