  1. I don't think there are places near Ponce or Rincon where you can find dolphins. The nearest you can see (not be near any of these marine creatures) are whales, which have a certain season where they appear near the coastlines of Rincon and Cabo Rojo.

In Vieques (opposite side of Rincon, I know) and around Cabo Rojo, you can probably find information about certain bioluminescent bays, which may interest your kids. Aside from that, there are beaches.

Also in Vieques and Culebra, there are amazing spots to snorkel and if you are extremely lucky, watch turtle hatchlings pop out of the sand (rare, and it is also seasonal).

    But no dolphins, maybe manatees.

  2. No Peanut, a dolphin may pass by a beach but noone can ensure you that you will find one or swin at his side.  You can see whales coming at their mating season near rincon, but you have to keep your distance.  Go to Culabra and do snorkeling and enjoy many marine life.

  3. as far as I know there are no places in PR to swim with dolphins

  4. No there is no place to swim with dolphins...if you go out to the sea you may see some..most dolphins in PR are bottle-nose and you may have a better chance in spotting a manatee

you should check the bioluminescent bays preferably in Vieques or Fajardo where you can kayak and swim in the water..other activities are snorkeling or scuba dive

  5. None  until dec 2007....
