If someone goes to Puerto Rico for a week and someone else goes to Cuba for a week who will have the darker tan? (hypothetically if they spent the same amount of time in the sun)

  1. It really all depends on how much you tan and if you protect yourself or not and I would recomend PR because it is more southern so it is hotter and it is easier to acces because of cubas government problems.

  2. Hi, I just noticed you asked the same question in 'Caribbean'....

If you don't mind, I'll just answer the same thing here for you:-)

*About the same. I've been to Cuba and other tropical places and it's very easy to get very dark. Both places are located by the ocean...therefore, salt water and salt air. That alone helps deepen your tan.

But it also depends where you'll be in Puerto Rico. Some places are cooler in temperature (even though it's hot lol) than Cuba.

So if you're in the lower elevations of Puerto Rico, it'll be hotter and the temperature averages between 21 and 32 C. The higher elevations are about 16 to 27 C....

That given, you might get darker in Cuba. If you're constantly sunning at the beach in Puerto Rico though, you'll get a beautiful tan too. So I think they're one in the same.

So now that all is said, maybe it's just a matter of where your heart lies.

**BTW, someone said in Cuba they have a lack of skin care products....that's not true.

  3. I think the appropriate question is,

"Who would have killed themselves first?"

    Or maybe,

"Why would you want to leave America?"

  4. cuba

  5. depends I think its about the same. I mean I live in PR and  i've been to cuba and its pretty much the same it all depends on which sun-block you use.. you know spf all that technical stuff.

  6. In Cuba I am sure they have a lack of skin care products

for the sun to prevent sunburns..
