  1. Well, depends on what you're planning on having and where.

    Are you cooking yourself?

    Will you be eating out?

There's anything from really affordable eateries to those where you might need your Platinum card.

  2. mmmmmm She is I much I live in Mexico and like  200 usd

  3. Hi

If you want to have fun and enjoy you vacation, You should take from $150 or $200 atleast.

    Have Fun

  4. Get away from the tourist section of the town and your eating authentic Mexican food and its GREAT !!!!   Not the Americanized version :)

Street vendors and "mom and pop" restaurants in front of their homes are abundant back in the neighborhood street in every town / village in Mexico - just the way they do things here.

The food handling practices might raise your eyebrow but order another beer and look the other way. Ive never gotten sick in 2 years - makes me wonder why the strict rules in the US.

10 pesos is 1 dollar. A beer is 10 pesos , cigarettes are 25 pesos to give you an idea as to the cost of living away from food.

Most meals - tacos barbacoha , enchilada's, Chicken mole , fish soups - you name it are 30 pesos, 40 max !!!

You gotta get away from the tourist zone though.

I tell everyone - you can have stupid fun for $100 a day - beer , food , cigarettes , more beer and snacks - just stupid fun o $100 a day.

I as a local can do it for $20 - that again is finding the deals off the tourist strips.

Hotel staff , taxi drivers , friendly locals will be more than happy to treat you to the Mexican lifestyle and give you the "deals" just ask .....................

Explore the side street and experience the real Mexico  not the tourist section most stay in . Its far different than what they show you in the "tourist section".

  5. If you avoid tourist traps that cater to Americans, you can get BOTH lunch and dinner for under $20-25 a day.

  6. It's according to what you want to eat.  You can buy tacos from street vendors for about a buck each.  If you want to do like we did and eat at American places you might need quite a bit.  Just a regular steak dinner at the Hard Rock cafe was about $30.00 USD but well worth it.  If you're just talking about yourself, I would allow about $50 a day.
