Puerto Vallarta Mexio.....should I go?

Question

my mom is brining me and my best friend (we are 13) on vacation this april. I was thinking Puerto Vallarta, Mexico....has anyone ever been? how was it? will the weather be nice? If I do go we were thinking about staying at the Marriott CasaManga Puerto Vallarta Resort & Spa, has anyone ever stayed there? and finally....how was the beach there? were there many dangers like sharks, jellyfish ect.? and how were the waves? thanks sooooo much!

(also if you dont think I should go there at all please give me a different suggestion!)

The beaches are very safe (we didn't have any problems at all), just standing in the waves is so much fun, the water is always warm and the people are really cool and interesting to talk to. There's lots to see and if you just want to be in the water all day, it's great. Plus, there are boat trips to the mountains and stuff like that. I think you'll have fun! We're planning to go this year, too! We loved it there.
