  1. Sorry...rainy season...hot 85+.....check out Chico's Paradise.

  2. July, raining time in vallarta and hot, try a all inclusive hotel.

check  http://www.thingstodoinvallarta.com they have alots of activities and tours and info about pv and the best prices.

  3. I JUST got back from PV and absolutely loved it.  You'll have a great time.  I personally can't get my head out of the place and want to go back (and live?) already.

As everyone else has said - you'll be there in the rainy season.

Do you have your hotel reservations set?  I highly recommend staying in a villa, but understand that's not for everyone.  Check out http://www.boutiquevillas.com for some nice local villas.  Ours was very inexpensive - we had a cook who prepared two meals a day for us and a housekeeper, etc.  We might have eaten out in restaurants, like, twice and the food was amazing.

I second the recommendation for Vallarta Adventures (someone listed their website address above - http://www.vallarta-adventures.com ).  We took two cruises - the "Rhythms of the Night" sunset cruise to Las Caletas and the snorkeling cruise to Majahuitas and Yelapa.  BOTH were amazing and so much fun.  The locations were beautiful, the excursions fun, and the crew for both cruises were GREAT - fun, fun guys.

We also did a canopy tour / ziplining which might be the most fun I've ever had in my life.  Maybe not for the feint of heart though.  Check out the website:  http://www.canopytours-vallarta.com/inde...  I typically don't like heights much, but I didn't find that to be a problem.  It was too fun to worry how high up we were.

I'd be happy to talk with you more about it or show you a couple pictures.  Drop me a line.

  4. Try staying in a villa, they are wonderful - very private and make any vacation sooo much better.

I am planning a week long trip in june and have found these websites very helpful planning tours/activities and also general information. Also check out www.tripadvisor.com which is where I go to find out about other peoples experiences with the resorts ect.

    have a great time

  6. Expect rain!! It's Rainy Season, yet very humid.. Expect weather highs in upper 80s lows in  lower 70s.

    Have fun!

  7. A must is to have dinner at Le set.High on a cliff, outdoorsy,Go before sun set, grab a table near the water. It is spectacular.Food is very good. You will need to take a taxi. This is where the movie starring Elizabeth Taylor,Night of The Iguna was filmed. We spend our last nite having dinner here.
