Puerto Vallarta or Cancun.. any thoughts??

Question

OK so here is the deal.... My Boyfriend and I are going on vacation and those are our two choices.. the resorts are owed by the same people and we can't decide.. We both like to drink and soak up the sun.. so that is what we are aiming for.. (both resorts are all enclusive, so we are set on that part) But the question is what scenery will be enjoyed more?

I would like to have opinions from people who have been to both places (not necessarily the resorts themselves but the places, although if you have been to both resorts you might have a more convincing argument!!)

For some reason I couldn't get into your links but it doesn't matter because we stayed at the resort in Puerto Vallarta Barcelo  La Jolla de Mismaloya and loved this resort. They are all- suite units with balconies.

There really is a town called Mismaloya and worth taking a walk across the road to see it.

Try to learn a few words of spanish, it will help in communicating.

Loved  down town PV.  You will have a great time in Puerto Vallarta. Very different than Cancun.

So my choice is PV and I wish you a fun trip. Enjoy)

I know for a fact that the Caribbean is much nicer than the Pacific side of Mexico, therefore I opt for Cancun. That being said, the Barcelo Tucancun is a very clean resort with good food and a great, almost secluded location.

Have fun deciding on which paradise is best for you,
