Puerto Vallarta......should we go?

Question

my mom is brining me and my best friend (we are 13) on vacation this april. I was thinking Puerto Vallarta, Mexico....has anyone ever been? how was it? will the weather be nice? If I do go we were thinking about staying at the Marriott CasaManga Puerto Vallarta Resort & Spa, has anyone ever stayed there? and finally....how was the beach there? were there many dangers like sharks, jellyfish ect.? and how were the waves? thanks sooooo much!

(also if you dont think I should go there at all please give me a different suggestion!)

The weather will benice and the marriot is a very nice hotel and there is lots of things to do around there and there is no sharks or jellyfish, so don´t worry about that.

Chloe, as always in life, it all depends on what you are looking for.

So I would suggest you to repost your question, but this time be specific about what activities you and your friend are looking for (e.g. if you spend most of your time in the beach, or in the pool, or if you are the kind of people that like to meet the town, take tours, etc).

About sea dangers, there are not sharks nor jellyfish near PV. Downside is that the PV beach is not as nice as you may think (compared to Cancun for example).
