NEED INFO ON PARADISE ISLAND IN DR, LITTLE SMALL ISLAND WHAT I HEARD, MORE LIKE SAND BANK IN DR. NOT PARADISE ISLAND IN BAHAMAS.........NEED INFO

Hi Kobeluna...,

Paradise Island or also called Cayo Arena, is a large sand bank not far away from the coast of Punta Rucia. This is a beautiful spot for scuba diving and of course for snorkeling!!

This a excursion of a complete day starting from Puerto Plata.

You have two options for booking : A. The cheap one 65 us/pp (including 3 hours bus, then a boat to the island). B. The VIP option :95 us pp ( 1 hour bus and then a boat direct to the Island). It's called in Spanish "Isla Paraiso". Good advise : Don't do the excursion just after a rain day, do it the after, you're will be seeing more under water.

Paradise island (isla paraiso) is located on the north coast Plata.

It is a small island of sand.
