  1. Hello. Puerto Rico has a ton of fun things to do, so don't worry she will love it. The Intercontinental is a nice hotel. There are always plenty of people staying there so I am sure she will meet kids her age that she can hang out with.  In San Juan Isla Verde beach is kind of like a Miami type beach. You guys can go to Old San Juan, its really beautiful with the spanish colonial architecture. You can do a walking tour. There are alot of historical sights, but they are not boring, they are very nice, even a teenager can enjoy them. Like El Morro, the big fort, its cool . If she likes shopping, then there is plenty here too. In Old San Juan there are alot of boutiques & unique stores. There is also a huge mall, the biggest in the caribbean, called Plaza Las Americas. If your lucky maybe you guys will go during a festival, they are alot of fun, people dance in the streets & celebrate.

Maybe she would like to see the Rain Forest, El Yunque, its on the east & only 45 minutes from San Juan. You can hike the trails & swim in the waterfalls. There is also a bioluminescent bay here called Las Croabas. The water glows in the dark, you can take a kayak tour, its amazing. Also on the east side there is great snorkelling, fishing, boating & nice beaches as well.  If you want the whitest sand try taking a ferry to Culebra or Vieques Island or even closer, right off the coast of Fajardo a boater can take you to a private island like Palominito or Icacos.  Also on the north coast you can see Camu Caves, its the worlds 3rd largest underground cave system. Its a very nice sight for any age. & Arecibo Telescope is the worlds largest telescope , it has a great view of PR's central mountains.  If she likes surfing you can take her to Rincon for the day, here they have the best surfing & gorgeous sunsets. You can even see whales in the winter & go horsebackriding on the beach. Ponce in the south is a cool city too, there is a huge water park here called El Tuque. Also no matter where you go you will find delicious food & friendly people. There are tons of watersports & fun activities too. Enjoy!!
