Puffy hair???? plz help!ok ?

Question

okay i have thick but smooth hair, but after my lastest hair cuts, my hair texture changed & now its all puffy not frizzy but puffy & very thick.

Wat can i used to make it smooth any gels or creams?

DONT recommend staightening my hair..

Sounds like you need a smoothing cream.  Their are several brands that make them.  The have whole smoothing sets.  Paul Mitchell makes a smoothing line, Matrix does too.  Both are very good but be careful if you go get these you'll need to use a clarifying shampoo about once every 1-2 weeks to remove the build up.  Smoothing items coat the hair.  I never recommend Frizz-ez because I have seen too many peoples hair start to dry out from being over coated with build up buy it.  Use the Paul Mitchell line, it cost less too.  You need something that's going to put weight on your hair to hold it down.  Even though you have thick hair The smoothing stuff should hold it down.

I have the same hair as you, but here's some good edvice.

Have a shower, use Pantene perfect curls shampoo & conditioner. then wrap your hair up and take it out after it's been in for about 10ish mins. Then put in Pantene Purfect Curls Mouse, and scrunch ur hair and your palms. Then let it go, and wear your hair down. I do this and it looks nice, looks better if you have long hair (about just past your shoulders.)

Try putting some strong hold wax through it. See http://mensfashion.about.com/od/goomingh...  for some ideas of how to style it. It sounds like you need to keep your hair a bit longer so that the weight will pull the puffyness from it.

I love VO5 Make it strait gel. It is super easy to put in and it will weight down your hair, protect frizz and it is a quick solution when you dont have time to straighten your hair. its super cheap and you can get it at target. I have hair just like your type.

use heads and shoulders conditioner. i know a lot us stray to herbal essence or fructis, but this conditioner really works you HAVE to try it.
