Its not so bad. I can still walk, but its a bit hard to stretch! Im extremely flexible, and i was about an inch to completely having my whole body position into doing a complete forward splits. What should i do? I quit my position as dance team captain a few months ago, and I've been thinking about doing cheer at my new school this year! Im going to a magnet school, so there isn't any volleyball or other sports, just cheer. It sux, please help? Will my leg kinda heal? What shuld i do? And can I go to the gym often?

  1. Cheerleading will do that to you LOL (here is what i used to do):

You need to ice it....and try to rest it as long as you can

Wrap an ace bandage around it to compress it

When you do stretch heat it before and ice it after

Dont push it too much...lighly stretch it so it doesnt get stiff

(also when stretching elastic bands are helpful to pull your leg up with and push against...resistance can really help flexability)

***Hope this helped and good luck***
