Pulled by police 7 days to produce documents, lost counterpart?

i got pulled for anti social driving whatever the h**l that is.

i have 7 days to produce my documents i have found everything but i cant find my paper part of my license anywere. ill send off for it 1st thing in the morning but i got to france the same day.

can my dad go to the station with my documents while I'm in france? is that acceptable or is there any way i can get an extension?
