Some months ago I was playing softball and I threw a ball too hard and it hurt the muscle in my upper left arm...for a while, and I kept throwing softball because I had to keep playing. The pain got worse, then went away. So I never saw the doctor. I have now (after 4 months) started softball again and throwing hurts badd. And if i stretch or touch it too hard it hurts. What should I do ??

  1. I did this when I was about 13. I never got it checked out by a doctor, at the age of 24, I found out it was a frayed rotator cuff. I had to have a cortisone injection into my shoulder, followed by several months of physical therapy. Better get it checked out.

  2. If you throw the ball a lot really fast you can throw your arm out if you ever watched a baseball game the pitchers always have a bag of ice taped over their arm after a game.

You can't really do anything about really...
