  1. I think the Boks will win, but I think it will be a closer game than most people are predicting.  And a very physical encounter that does make me concered about injuries for the semi finals.  We all saw what happened with the Bok B team against Tonga.

    Go Boks

  2. This rwc has been full of upsets and the unexpected so my money is on the pumas

  3. Its not an arrogant question, he said WOULD win not WILL win, so hes not even presuming the match will go ahead. And chances are it will cos the northern hemishere SUCKS! Hehe. And the Boks should win but will be a great game. If they don't, I'd like to see the Pumas win the cup. I feel so sorry for them not having anyone to play all the time. Its time they were included in the tri nations!

  4. A Puma would eat a Bok.... if it could catch it.

In Rugby, I pick the Boks... by lots.

  5. Arrogant question! Firstly the Argies have to negotiate a tricky tie against the Scots ... who have the firepower in their backs to score against anyone, and the kicking ability to take advantage of any indiscipline from the opposition. And the Boks have to negotiate Fiji ... arguably the hardest-hitting side next to the Boks themselves. There's a reason why Fiji are the number one team in World Sevens - they are skillful, fast and powerful. The only thing they lacked was stamina to last 80 minutes. They've sorted that out now, and will give the Boks a much tougher test that most people think they will. Assuming you're in the next round is just a recipe for disaster. There's a reason why the remaining eight teams are in the knockout stages ... because they are on form!

  6. I would go with SA. For the reason that it is the last World Cup for a lot of SA players and Jake White's only way to hold on to his job is if he is successful.

For a lot of Boks, they won't be playing for their country anymore. It will be last time Smit will captain, he along with Montgomery, Butch James, Bakkies Botha and others are playing in European clubs next season and the SARU are talking about locking out players who go over to Europe. The legendary Os Du Randt will retire ofcourse. Which leaves the Boks of the new age - Habana, Pieterson who are both very ambitious and hungry for success . Habana in particular is only 24 and he's got 28 international tries to his name already! Steyn, who is a prodigy at 20 and showing so much potential will be looking to prove a point at the RWC.

There's a lot riding on this RWC for the Boks and they seem pretty determinded to go all the way and give NZ a rematch! Taking into account that the SARU might be introducing some radical changes next year - it's likely the Springboks will be no more, thus, for the older Boks, this is their last chance to shine and I can't see them rolling over so easily in the quarters or semis. The Argentinians have a brilliant foundation to launch into the next RWC so if they go out in the Semis they've still got a bright future ahead of them with new found confidence. For the Boks, its make or break and the Argies are gonna a very tough fight on their hands - I can't see them being able to match the speed the Boks have in their backs.

  7. If the Pumas played their game, they could beat the boks. However, the boks are big and physical down the middle, which does not suit most teams and definately not the Pumas style.

  8. Dream on they won't be playing the Boks until they arrange a game with them after the world cup is over.perhaps they would beat them if they played against them at football

                                                                                          scotty.

  9. Springboks will eat the Pumas.

  10. Yo te daré, te daré una cosa, te daré una cosa, una cosa que empieza con p......PUMAS!!!

  11. Oh my goodness, is this a serious question?  No offense but No...a million no's.  the Boks would eat 'em alive, bless their hearts!

  12. I think the republic will take out the pumas but they wouldnt give up and play their hearts out

  13. stupid question ALERT!!!!!

  14. gregor do u actually watch rugby? the scottish score against the all blacks looked like this 0 and the fijians rnt the best team in 7s new zealandd won the title this year nd alot of yeaars before that south africa almost lost to tonga do i need 2 remind people of that?

  15. My answer, divorced of my feelings: The Springboks are more likely to win, they know how to handle the ball, and while its true that tackling is strong in The Pumas, handling its poor considering the level of play they have, therfore, tries will be easier for boks to make. However, I think it will be The Pumas´s best match against the Boks.

My answer, not divorced of my feelings: LES VAMOS A ROMPER EL ORTO, A CAGAR A TACKLES, LOS PUMAS LE ESTAN PONIENDO HUEVOS A CADA JUGADA, Y VAMOS A LLEGAR A LA FINAL Y GANARLE A LOS ALL BLACKS TAMBIEN!!!!!

    :)

Edit: A hard time against the scots? come on!!

A hard time against Fiji (for the boks) Thats even funnier!

  16. All things being equal on that day and no more injuries in the quarter finals for both teams. The Boks should win.

  17. boks

  18. it the Boks field there first team, they would take the pumas by 17
