Pumpkin Lesson plan Multicultural Education?

Does anyone have any good ideas or websites? I've searched around but am having trouble coming up with a way to tie pumpkins in with multicultural education. Teachers please help!

That's kind of tough but you can have a variety of types/sizes/colors of pumpkins. Talk about how they all look different but are the same on the inside. Relate that to how we are. Hope this helps!

Color the pumpkin with different color markers, use different color felt pieces, make eyes different shapes and colors or use the googley eyes, use different color yarn for hair.
