Pumpkin Plant is leaning! What should I do?

My pumpkin plants is leaning what should I do? Should I just let it be or try to make it stand up right? There are only female flowers on the plant. Thanks

  1. Pumpkin plants are supposed to sprawl. Besides, how would you expect it to stand up once you got pumpkins on it?


  2. Paul is correct.  Pumpkin vines run, even if you trained them on a trellis, only the smallest varieties could support their own weight.  I have seen "slings" used to support growing melon types that would other wise fall off  as they got heavy if you must have an upright garden.
