Will one pumpkin plant by its self bear fruit? Or does there need to be two for polination?

  1. Pumpkins are monoecious, having both male and female flowers

    Both male and female blossoms would have to be open at the same time for pollination.


  2. One is fine, all you need are bees to pollinate it. No bees? Pollinate it yourself, it's easy.
