  1. i have a freestanding B.O.B. = body opponent bag, you know the one that looks like a humans torso + head..

i fill the bottom with sand or water ( i use water) and it slightly shifts its position as you hit it. good punching bag though and i like how you can clinch the back of its neck and adjust the height. also good for training accuracy.

it cost 500 when i got it, i dont know what it costs today

  2. Anywhere from 60 to a few hundred dollars.  It will depend largely on 2 things:

    Weight and brand.

Also....be sure that the one you buy comes with a chain, swivel, and mounting hardware.  Many places will sell you the bag without the hardware, and you are stuck having to purchase more.

Shop around.  I bought one from karatedepot.com and I am happy with it.  I made my own chain to hang it though (it was cheaper to build).

  3. it varies..but id just like to add the truth....the truth is, you get what you pay for. i got a bag for 50 bucks, it was c**p. save up and get a good one. everlast, century, etc.

check out combat sports international, and title boxing.

  4. I got a wave one for 60 bucks at a sprots store it is used

  5. ive seen decent ones as cheap as $50 but normally they are about $100+

  6. Cheapest probably around 80 dollars.  I would try searching on craigslist.org or on ebay for the cheapest.  Good Luck!

  7. its like 100 bucks but you need proper training on it man it doesnt make you a a better fighter... you actually need to fight in the streets to be more experienced and better

  8. pizza or whatever probably just posted the dumbest thing i've ever heard.
