If the last word(s) in a setencen are a title, do you put the punctuation (be it a period, a question mark, whatever) inside the quotes or outside them?

EXAMPLE:

  1. Quotes always go outside the punctuation at the end of a sentence.

  2. A) My favorite Beatles song is "Something."

  3. B.  An example of A would be a sentence within a sentence such as:

Then he said, "You need to stop doing that."

  4. Close quotes ALWAYS go outside all other punctuation (even if it looks funny sometimes).

  6. The song title is enclosed in quotes, and the period is at the end of the sentence.  So line B is the correct one.
