Pundit Watch set to shine at Hove
Pundit Watch is all set to show a sterling run at Hove racecourse and finish first in Coral 475 Maiden on Thursday night, April 5.
The high-stakes Open Race over 475m distance is scheduled to start at 20:02 (GMT). There is reserved £150 of prize money for the event.
Pundit Watch will daringly compete against Blackstone Tommy, Farmers Lass, Mash Mad Monkey, Newinn Phanter and Fizzypop Elite.
The C. Kyme-trained black dog made his debut on March 20, 2012 at Swindon and excellently clinched top spot in his maiden race.
The dashing dog went on to earn a runner-up rank in the very next outing on March 24. The son of Hondo Black out of Have One More again sizzled in the third and last start of his career on March 30 and finished first by a big margin of 6 lengths.
These three impressive performances have beautifully established the talented hound as a hot favourite runner in the betting market.
Now, the novice sprinter is going to draw a big bankroll for tonight’s showdown. His chances to finish first in the race will be more than 90 percent provided he runs with a consistent pace and avoids making any mistake---the second thing is more important
as even a slight error may mitigate his chances to thrive.
Among the other entries, Fizzypop Elite and Mash Mad Monkey are also likely to do well on the track.
Fizzypop Elite is on a hat-trick. The J. Harvey-trained black dog elegantly won two consecutive races with big margins on March 25 and April 1. Prior to this, the young hound had attained two runner-up positions during February-March.
On the other hand, Mash Mad Monkey won two races each in January and March 2012. The trainee of R. Yeates also gained two runner-up spots during the same period.
By and large, there is going to be an awe-inspiring competition for the Maiden title. Let us see who gains what in the race which will definitely be packed with twists and turns. Good luck to all the runners.
