Pune lifestyle?

Hi all,

My husband got a job in Pune and around October this year we will be shifting base from Kolkata to Pune. His office is in Viman Nagar. Our family comprise of we both, my 2 yrs old daughter and my mom in law. Can anyone suggest me:

Good residential area near Viman Nagar.

What would be the approximate rent of 2 bed room aptmnt

Are there any good schools near by?

What can be the average cost of living?

Will it be possible to manage within 40K monthly?

Viman Nagar is near the Pune airport and is an upcoming area of Pune. There are many residential societies there so finding a house should not be a problem.

Rent for a 2 bhk should be around 10 to 12K on the higher side.

Not sure of schools nearby but the best schools in Pune would be a little far from viman nagar.

cost of living is a subjective matter and depends on your lifestyle.

These is also the option of living in a different area, in which case your husband would have a longer commute.
